Daddy will be running through mud to raise money for my ABR therapy! Please support him.

Summer Fair

The Support Sasha summer fair took place on Saturday. The omens weren’t great. The weather forecast looked grim and we waited with baited breath to see how much rain would fall on the day. On the morning of the fair, we had no empties for Can It and daddy was convinced we could get gas for the barbecue from the petrol station… Until we got there. However, despite all of this, the event was spectacular. No rain fell for the first day in ages! We got the gas from Homebase and Uncle Rich raided recycling bins for the cans. Thanks to an efficient army of helpers, we were ready when the first guests arrived for an afternoon of fun.

We had an array of stalls, games and activities as well as a quiz and a raffle with rather fantastic prize as well as a barbecue and a wonderful selection of home baked cakes and biscuits. The aim of the day was to raise money and for people to have lots of fun. We really hope we achieved the latter; we certainly managed to achieve the former, banking £1162.08 towards my trip for dolphin therapy.

Big thanks to everyone who came along to enjoy the day with us. Thanks also to all those who made the day possible. We are grateful for donations from Halfords Bromley, M&S Bromley, Tesco Bromley, Inside Out Living, Sia Beauty, Flutterbyes and Bubs and Mama Massage. Thank you also to all those who gave up their time to set up, clear away and man stalls. Thanks to Mike for the quiz and Stu for designing the posters and flyers.
